Terms and Conditions
South Cheshire Pickleball Club (SCPC) is committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of players. Everyone associated should show respect & understanding for our players and always act with the players’ best interests in mind.
GENERAL TERMS
• All players and visitors must adhere to all notices, signs and information intended for the safety of you and others
• Players are responsible for ensuring that the behaviour and noise level do not disturb other users of the courts or surrounding areas. Players must also dispose of any rubbish or waste materials.
• Any players behaving in any way deemed by SCPC to be abusive, vulgar, racist, sexist, defamatory, sexually orientated or obscene or which will harass, distress, embarrass or inconvenience any person (including staff) or which might restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the facilities by any person will be asked to vacate the Centre.
• Personal items should not be left unsupervised at the premises at any time. SCPC accepts no responsibility for items lost, stolen or damaged on the premises. If you suffer an injury on our premises, it is your responsibility to report it to a member of staff immediately.
• SCPC will not accept liability for any injuries incurred during play or visit at our venue.
• It is the individual’s own responsibility to make their own first aid arrangements, such as the provision of a first aid kit, there is no legal requirement for the Club to provide first aid facilities.
• Players must inform SCPC of any medical condition or disability that may be relevant to the person booked into an activity. Players must also notify us of any change or deterioration of any such medical condition or disability. We will keep this information confidential and handle such issues with discretion. It is our policy to include any such individuals within the scheduled programmes wherever possible, but we reserve the right to refuse the booking if we are unable to accommodate the requirements of any individual.
• Appropriate sporting attire should be worn on the court and shirts must be worn at all times.
• SCPC does not accept any liability for closures of the venue outside our own control.
• Players must be over 18 years of age.
• Payments must be prepaid directly to SCPC before play /coaching begin.
• Players are responsible for their own safety.
COURT BOOKING
• Courts can only be booked by members of SCPC
MEMBERSHIPS
General:
• Memberships are prepaid for the full calendar year.
• Membership renewal is automatic. For cancellation of automatic renewal, please contact us by email two months before your renewal date.
• Membership freezing or pausing is not an option available under any circumstances.
• If a time becomes unavailable SCPC accepts no responsibility as we operate on a first come first serve basis.
• Membership options are listed on the membership page of this website.
• Membership Application: SCPC reserves the right to reject a membership application if they have a suitable reason to do so. An explanation would be given in this instance.
• Breach of Terms and Conditions: Should a member be found in breach of any of the terms and conditions outlined within this document, the Club reserves the right to cancel membership without any notice or refund.
COACHING
• ALL coaching sessions cancelled less than 24 hours before are not eligible for a refund. This is at the discretion of the coach.
CANCELLATIONS
There is no refund eligible for Pay as U Play members if a session is cancelled by the player.
CANCELLATIONS MADE BENTLEY MOTORS
• Any decision to cancel a session will be advised to members and any Pay as U play members will receive a refund.
FEEDBACK
• Any feedback/complaints associated with SCPC should be directed to the Committee via e-mail.
